How to connect to vsql From the Admin

- We can use the Administration Tools to connect to a database using vsql on any node in the cluster.Following are the steps:
- Log in as
the database administrator user; for example, dbadmin.
- Run the Administration Tools./opt/vertica/bin/admintools
- On the Main Menu, select Connect to Database.
- Supply the database password if asked:
- The Administration Tools connect to the database and transfer control to vsql.

\g or terminate with semicolon to execute query
